Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate the percentage of a goal reached?

Use: % = (progress ÷ goal) × 100

Example: with a 500 km goal and 260 km completed: (260 ÷ 500) × 100 = 52%.

How do I calculate how much remains to reach the goal?

Remaining value: goal − progress.
Remaining percentage: 100 − % reached.

Example: goal $10,000, progress $4,200. The remaining amount is $5,800, so 58% is still incomplete.

Can progress exceed 100%?

Yes. If progress is greater than the goal, the calculated percentage is above 100%, which means the goal was exceeded. The progress bar is then shown completely in green.
